Motherhood
Motherhood
There is no role in life more essential and more eternal than that of motherhood,” says Elder M. Russell Ballard of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. According to the Advanced Training Institute International, the mother has primarily 5 roles:
1. The Mother is the “Heart” of the Home.
2. The Mother is the “Light” of Learning.
3. The Mother is a “Learner-Teacher.”
4. The Mother is a “Creative Recorder.”
5. The Mother is a “Coordinator” of Responsibilities.
But I believe mothers play more roles than the above-mentioned five. They are very important for the equilibrium or stability of the home. They are always there for their children. They are good listeners. May the Lord bless all the mothers in this world.
THERE IS NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT
THERE IS
NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT
All your
worries, anxieties, complaints, grumbling etc. can never change positively
anything to the situation you are going through currently but they will rather
worsen things. You had better be positive and trust the Lord who cares for you.
Mathew 6: 25-32
You don’t
necessarily need “powerful or anointed men of God” as they are called nowadays
to get your miracle. Jesus will always say “it shall be done to you according
to your faith” and not according to doubt and worries. Mathew
8:13; Mathew 9:29
Prayer: Lord, help me to see as you want me to see and
behave accordingly. ( by Prosper Begedou)
Nos amis pour le succes
Nos amis pour le succès
1 corinthiens
15: 33
» (Proverbe 13 :4)
2. LA BIBLE : Josué
1 : 8 ; Psaume 1 : 1-3 ; Psaume 119 : 97-101 ;

KNOWING GOD …
“The boy Samuel ministered before the Lord under Eli
[…] Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord.” – 1 Samuel 3: 1a, 7a
I have come to
realize that a person can try or pretend to serve the Lord without really
knowing Him. Samuel was in the house of the Lord and even the passage says that
he ministered before the Lord, but surprisingly enough, he had not yet known
the Lord. God deemed it important to let Himself known to Samuel because He
knew that the boy could not serve Him acceptably without knowing Him. Many are those who minister before the Lord
in a specific way. Some are regular in their church services, others are
faithful with their tithes and offerings and even others do evangelism; but
still don’t know God.
Knowing God goes
far beyond the human endeavor to please God and men.
Knowing God means seeing as God sees and doing things as God does them. Jesus
knew the Father that is why he was ready to give everything it takes to have
God’s will done. “When Jesus saw the crowds, he had compassion on them”
(Matthew 9: 36). How do we see those who are needy and vulnerable today? If
everybody can reach the level of knowing God, the ministry will be done
differently. Many people are not ready to go an extra mile to have God’s work
done because they don’t know God.
Every Christian
should question himself/herself to know if he/she really knows God. The answer
to this question will determine the level of our commitment to the ministry God
has called us for. Knowing God will help each one to serve without constraints
and give the best of himself/herself. We need to know God in order to serve Him
acceptably.
Lord, thank you for loving us even if we don’t really
know you. We need more of your grace to be able to know you as you are and
serve you as you want.
DEFINING HAPPINESS
I
have heard many people talk about “happiness” and almost everybody has a unique
definition of the word. The Greek philosopher Aristotle said, "Happiness
is the meaning and purpose of life, the aim and end of human existence." An
article in Psychology Today pointed out
that in 2000, there were 50 books written on happiness, but just eight years
later, there were 4,000 books written on the topic.
The
preamble of the Americans’ (1st world power) Declaration of
Independence states that " we are endowed by [our] Creator with certain
unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of
happiness." If we keep on pursuing happiness, when will we get it? I think
we need to “be happy” and not “pursue happiness”
"Happiness"
is something that is self-contained. In other words, you can experience
happiness regardless of your circumstances. So we need to we be contempt with
what we have and be happy and stop complaining. I believe we need to focus on
what we have and be happy and not on what we don’t have and be unhappy.
